Our Story
Over the past 7 years, this business has evolved in many ways. We began as a smoothie bar pop-up in the heart of downtown Georgetown, then shifted into the Farmer's Market scene, where we met so many amazing humans. Unfortunately, the 2020 closures led us to re-evaluate our business model. But we couldn't have asked for a better push! Through the contactless era of lockdowns, we transformed your favourite smoothie bowls into something delicious you could enjoy right in the comfort of your own home.
We've created a nutritionally balanced smoothie bowl that is filled with the flavours you love, ready when you are. If there is one thing we've learned, it is that life can be complicated, busy, and down right exhausting, but your food doesn't have to be. We're here to bring back simplicity.
As a small business owner, it has always been a dream of mine to enter the retail space. To see our products on the shelves of trusted grocery stores. And we can proudly say that as of 2020, we have reached one of our most significant milestones.
But it is clear to us that one thing will never change. Our local community is the heart and soul of Spoon In. It is this collection of people that allows our business to find support, make connections, and grow. This is why we "look local first." Local business collaborations, local markets, local charitable initiatives. Local is YOU. And if you choose, you are all Spoonkind.
